The Edulastic Logic Model
This scientific, 360-degree view of data illustrates how Edulastic is the right assessment tool for schools to use to help students succeed.
How to Read a Logic Model
Step 1: Inputs
The logic model begins by identifying optimal assessment practices.
Step 2: Activities
Educators receive support from Edulastic with specific steps needed to deliver on the optimal practices identified in Step 1.
Step 3: Outcomes
This section highlights the outcomes we can expect when the optimal assessment practices are implemented.

What are some positive outcomes that can be expected based on the framework above?

Efficacy Study
Measure of Academic Growth
The outcome measures in this study are based on annual math and reading value-added scores on Ohio’s state tests (OSTs). To estimate the effects of Edulastic usage in any given grade-by-school-by-year combination, separate linear multilevel models (MLMs) for reading and math were run.
The Findings
Edulastic usage had a small, but positive effect on reading growth in grades 4-8. The effect of Edulastic usage, however, demonstrated even stronger evidence for math interventions.
