Join us for #EdAssessChat on the first Thursday of each month! The hour-long Twitter chat focuses on themes related to digital assessment and professional learning. This is a great opportunity for teachers in the Edulastic community and beyond to connect, share ideas, and inspire one another with ways to enrich and improve teaching practices in the classroom.

You’re bound to leave the chat with new friends, new ideas, and new tips for using assessment with your K-12 students. Mark your calendar, follow @Edulastic on Twitter and be a part of the conversation every first Thursday of the month at 3pm PT // 6pm ET.

What to Expect in an #EdAccessChat

Released over the course of an hour, each chat will center around 4-6 open-ended questions that participants can respond to directly or can use as a jumping-off-point for further discussion. The questions for each chat will be posted ahead of time, so that participants can prepare their answers and spread the word about each week’s topic. The questions for each chat will follow the format of Q1, Q2, and participants will tag their answers accordingly beginning with A1, A2, etc.

Participating in a Twitter Chat

This chat is open to anyone who wishes to participate. To contribute to the chat, participants must have a Twitter account and tag each tweet with #EdAssessChat. Follow @Edulastic and keep an eye on the #EdAssessChat hashtag for updates on the questions being asked. If you’re new to Twitter chats or need a refresher, check out this beginner’s guide for some tips to get your ready!
